The tech giant wants SMB customers, with the help of channel partners, to be in it for the long haul with Cisco. That means more focused marketing support, managed services, and a focus on business outcomes, according to the company’s SMB leaders.
“We have huge competitors, sometimes they bundle everything together … No matter what, you’ve got to be fair,” Zoom CEO Eric Yuan said at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia + Technology Conference on Tuesday.

With IT requirements changing fast and new demands coming in from customers, CRN asked MSPs about the hidden gem tech vendors that are on their radar right now.
“We’re building our own ChatGPT system that’s going to help us do customized AI for all of our customer intelligence and collaboration needs. The reason why we’re doing that is because it lets us gain more control over it, it lets us scale, it lets us do customizations. It’s also in real-time, which is another big deal. If you look at ChatGPT, it can be over 10 seconds for a response. That doesn’t work obviously, with customer communications in real time,” Dialpad co-founder Brian Peterson tells CRN.
